BNP leader Shahidul Islam Bachchu held in Natore

NATORE, June 16 (UNB): Police arrested general secretary of district BNP Shahidul Islam Bachchu from his residence at Fouzdari Para in the district town Monday on charge of extortion.
Resident Engineer of district Power Development Board (PDB) Shahidul Islam filed the case against Bachchu with the police this morning.
Shahid in his complaint said Bachchu illegally demanded Tk 50,000 from him for his treatment in India.
