BNP leader shot dead in Jashore

Assailants have gunned down a BNP leader in Jashore Sadar upazila, sending shockwaves through the local political community, reports bdnews24.com.
The incident occurred in Shankarpur at around 6:50pm on Saturday, outside the office of former municipal councillor Shahed Hossain Nayan, according to Inspector (Operations) Mominul Haque of Jashore Kotwali Police.
