BNP makes civil admin questionable: Menon

Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said on Sunday BNP is making civil administration and other officials including police questionable as the party is sensing sure defeat in the upcoming general election, reports BSS.
"They (BNP) have understood that the party would not get favour of the people in the parliamentary election," he told a view-exchange meeting with 20 number Word of Awami League (AL) leaders and activists on the premises of Segunbagicha High School, an official release said.
General Secretary of Dhaka City Unit(South) of AL Shahe Alam Murad, Central Leader of Bangladesh Workers Party Touhidur Rahman and President of Shahbag Unit of Awami League GM Atiqur Rahman, among others, addressed the meeting with 20 number word unit of AL Monwar Hossain Monu in the chair.
Menon said, "BNP Chairperson and her son Tarique Rahman are convicted of corruption charges…. They are trying to find out ways to boycott general election as the people of the country will reject them in the next national election."
