The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) observed on Saturday the state mourning for the Palestinians killed in the recent dastardly Israeli attacks in Gaza Strip.
To mark the day, national flags were hoisted at half mast at the party's central office at Nayapaltan and the chairperson's office at Gulshan in Dhaka, according to party sources.
Earlier on October 19, the government issued a circular declaring October 21 to observe the state mourning for the casualties of Palestinians in Gaza city.
As part of the mourning, prayers were also offered at mosques, temples, churches and pagodas across the country on Friday for the salvation of the departed souls of the Palestinians.
