BNP not thinking about country, says railways minister

PANCHAGARH, June 11 (BSS): Railways Minister Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon today said that Bangladesh National Party (BNP) is not thinking about the country.
"They (BNP) have no agenda without criticism of Awami League," he said this while inaugurating the 'Dolonchapa Express' train from Panchagarh to Santahar route at Panchagarh Bir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam Railway Station here as chief guest.
The minister also said that we will remain united as the BNP was established by General Ziaur Rahman while he was in the state power by killing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujiubur Rahman.
The minister mentioned that we will go to Cox's Bazar by train from Panchagarh in June, 2023.
Asim Kumar, Director General (West) of Bangladesh Railway Rajshahi Zone, presided over the function. It was addressed, among others, by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Panchagarh Johurul Islam, District Administrator Anwar Sadat Samrat, Additional Police Super Rakibul Hasan, Sadar Upazila Chairman Amirul Islam.
Later, the minister inaugurated the train by cutting ribbon, blowing a whistle and hoisting a signal of national flag.
