Communications Minister Obaidul Quader said Saturday BNP is now doing politics with roads and highways, reports BSS.
"Getting no alternative, BNP started doing politics with Talpotti island in the Bay and subsequently is trying to do politics with roads," he told journalists while visiting the traffic condition of roads and highways at suburban Ashulia this noon.
The Minister said they (BNP) threatened to launch an anti-government movement after Eid-ul-Fitr but they would not get any road-like issue to serve their purpose.
"Mass people are with the development activities of the government. They (people), in real sense, don't want to see any destruction and violence in the name of agitation," Quader, also ruling Awami League presidium member, observed.
