BNP pays last respect to Hamidullah

Leaders and workers of BNP and its front and associate organisations Saturday paid last respect to valiant freedom fighter (FF) Wing Commander (retd) M Hamidullah Khan (Bir Protik), reports UNB.
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia flanked by the party leaders paid last respect to Hamidullah, the party's FF affairs secretary, by wrapping his coffin with the party flag and placing wreath when his body was brought in front of the party central office at Nayapaltan at around 11:20 am.
The third namaz-e-janaza was held in front of BNP central office when special prayer was offered seeking divine blessing for the departed soul.
Later, leaders and workers of Dhaka city BNP, Jubo Dal, Shechchhasebok Dal, JASAS and DAB and other organisations placed wreaths on the coffin of Hamidullah.
The first janaza was held at Allahu mosque in Dhaka cantonment after Esa prayers on Friday. Hamidullah Khan passed away on Friday afternoon at Combined Military Hospital.
