BNP plotting to create instability in country, says Amu

RANGAMATI, Dec 26 (BSS) : Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu said today the BNP-led 20-party alliance is conspiring to create instability in the country.

Earlier, they tried to make the country into a dysfunctional state through creating a constitutional crisis by foiling the January 5 election, he said while inaugurating a five-day 'SME Goods Fair' in Rangamati.

Former State Minister for CHT Affairs Dipangkar Talukder, Firoza Begum Chinu, MP, and Rangamati District Council Chairman Nikhil Kumar Chakma also addressed the inaugural function.

The industries minister said the SME [small and medium enterprises] fair would play an important role in utilising the potential of the hill tracts. The government is trying to create small entrepreneurs in this region, he added.

About 50 small and medium enterprises are taking part with their products in the fair.
