The high command of opposition BNP has assigned senior and mid-level leaders to reactivate the field level workers across the country in a bid to inject fresh momentum in its anti-government movement, reports UNB.
A 3- member team has been formed with members of the standing committee, vice-chairmen, joint secretaries general and BNP chairperson's advisers for each district to oversee the already underway month-long programmes like demonstration and mass contact at upazila level.
BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that BNP central leaders would address public meetings at upazila headquarters to mobilise public support against "failures and misrule" of the 22-month-old Awami League government.
He also said that the rallies and mass contacts have already started from the first of October.
