Main opposition BNP Friday warned of launching movement to oust the government as they alleged that the government had failed in all fronts, reports UNB.
The party's Senior Joint Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Vice Chairman MK Anwar and Goyeswar Chandra Roy made the remarks while talking to the newsmen separately.
"It's not just the issue of cantonment house, the government has failed to fulfill its commitment… failed in all fronts in running the affairs of the state," Mr Alamgir said.
"The next meeting of the party's standing committee will map out the anti-government agitation", he added.
MK Anwar said programmes like hartal, long march and road march would be considered while announcing the next course of action against the government.
Goyeswar Chandra Roy favoured hartal to step up the anti-government agitation, as he said that the ruling party "Mocks the opposition as weak if soft programmes are announced."
