Police picked up BNP's two female ex-MPs and four activists of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal from near BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office on Thursday, reports UNB.
Gulshan police detained the six women around 2pm as they had been there with cooked food for the BNP chief and her party leaders staying inside the office.
The arrestees are ex-MPs, (reserved seats) Sahila Akter and Nargis Ali, Mohila Dal activists Shirin Akter Rina, Jharna Khan, Nilufar Nasrin Nilu and Shamima Sultana Tamanna.
Later, police took them to Gulsahn Police Station.
Food and fresh water supply to Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office for her party leaders, office staff and security personnel remained disrupted since February 11 due to reported obstruction by law enforcers.
They, however, are not resisting the relatives of Khaleda from supplying cooked food for her.
