BNP's Fazlur summoned to ICT over contempt charges

Fazlur Rahman, an adviser to BNP chairperson and senior Supreme Court advocate, has been ordered to appear and provide an explanation of the contempt of court charges for his 'negative' comments on the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), report agencies.

The tribunal has also fixed December 8 for Fazlur's hearing.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder issued the order on Sunday. The other member of the bench is retired district and sessions judge Md Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.
