BNP’s parliamentary meeting today

The ruling BNP has called a parliamentary meeting today (Saturday), report agencies.

The meeting will be held at 4:00 pm at the national parliament building's government party meeting room, according to the Parliament Secretariat's Public Relation Wing.

BNP Member of Parliament (MP) Sakhawat Hasan Jibon said, "A parliamentary party meeting has been called on Saturday. It will begin at 4:00 pm."

After taking their oaths, the BNP decided at its first parliamentary meeting that members would not accept duty-free cars or plots.

The second meeting was chaired by Prime Minister and Party Chairman Tarique Rahman before the appointments of the speaker and deputy speaker.

A ruling party MP said, "A special committee of the national parliament has reviewed the 133 ordinances issued during the interim government and has also taken decisions on some issues.

The issue of the ordinances may be discussed at tomorrow (Saturday)'s meeting."
