SYLHET, June 6 (UNB): Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) protested on Saturday Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi's visit to Bangladesh.
The BSD activists brought out a procession in the city here in the afternoon.
The procession ended at the City Point, after parading Central Shaheed Minar, where they held a rally.
Speakers at the rally demanded that the Indian government stops its project to construct the Tipaimukh Dam on the Barak River.
They also demanded ensuring fair shares of common rivers, including the Teesta.
The speakers claimed that the interests of Bangladesh will be jeopardised following the visit of Modi also he has come here promising to bolster the ties between the two countries.
