BSF kill one in Lalmonirhat

LALMONIRHAT, Dec 20 (UNB): Indian Border Security Force (BSF) opened a barrage of fire without any provocation at Daikhawa border village of Hatibandha Upazila killing a man and injuring another Sunday morning.
Confirming the BSF firing, Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) Commander Lieutenant Colonel Aslam said Tapan Kumar (28) died on the spot.
The body of Tapan, whose nationality could not be ascertained, was dragged away by the BSF personnel.
Badly wounded Azizul Islam was rushed to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
