BSF returns two Bangladeshis after eight hours of detention


LALMONIRHAT, May 03 (BSS): The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has returned two Bangladeshi nationals including an SSC candidate after eight hours of detention on Patgram border of the district.
The BSF returned the two Bangladeshis through Burimari Land Port at around 2 am today after a meeting with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). The BGB conducted medical tests of both the Bangladeshi citizens before receiving them from the BSF.
BGB sources said the BSF personnel detained Rimon, son of Mustak Hossain of Patgram upazila, and his maternal uncle Sajedul Islam who came to Patgram from Bogura Sadar.
They were detained from sub-pillar No. 825 in Gatiarpar border area at around 6pm on Friday by the BSF. Rimon is a candidate of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination this year.
