BSJ congratulates PM for maritime victory

Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ)  held a rally and brought out procession hailing Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina for achieving recent victory over maritime dispute with India, reports BSS.

The BSJ observed the programme in front of National Press Club in the city Saturday.

Presided over by BSJ vice-president Mobarak Ali Shikder, it was addressed by BSJ leaders Arun Sarkar Rana, Nasima Akter Labu, Awami League (AL) leaders Balaram Poddar and Soheli Pervin Moni, among others.

'' Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had presented an independent and sovereign state to Bengali nation, and his worthy daughter Sheikh Hasina has presented the nation a good name in the world," they said.

"The people, who are not being able to accept this victory, are giving false and misleading statements about it, said Sikder, adding, they are nothing but the agents of Pakistan."

Later, a colourful procession was brought out and it paraded through different streets of the city.
