Aggrieved students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) blocked the roads by setting fire to tyres at Azimpur, New Market, Dhaka University and Palashi Intersection areas in the city Sunday as a fellow student was injured in a roa Students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) staged protests by blocking road in front of the university as one of their fellow students sustained injuries in a road accident near the campus Sunday, reports UNB.
The injured was identified as Anika Tasnim Onna, a 3rd year student of Architecture Department of the university.
Witnesses said Onna sustained injuries when a speeding microb us hit her while crossing the road in front of BUET main gate at around 9:00 am. She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
