Bullet-hit BCP activist held

JHENIDAH, Nov 15 (UNB): A joint team of RAB and police arrested a suspected outlaw with bullet wounds after a gunfight with his associates at Baxipur under Sadar Upazila Sunday.
Acting on a tip off, the joint team raided Baxipur village at about 1am to nab the members of banned outfit Biplobi Communist Party (BCP).
Sensing the presence of the joint forces, the armed outlaws opened fire on them. In retaliation, the law enforcers also fired back triggering a gun-battle, police said.
