Burdwan blast main accused Sajid\\\'s brother remanded

NARAYANGANJ, Nov 12 (BSS): A court here today granted two days' remand to Monwar alias Mona, elder brother of detained Sajid, the main accused in the October 2 Burdwan blast at West Bengal in India.
Senior Judicial Magistrate of Narayan-ganj KM Mohiuddin passed the order. Mona was arrested from Farajikandi area under Bandar Police Station early Tuesday.
He was produced before the court with a prayer of seven days in connection with a case. Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) Nazrul Islam of RAB-11 filed the case with Bandar Police Station.
Police on November 8, arrested the main accused in Burdwan blast from Kolkata in India, Kolkata police sources said.
The arrestee is Sheikh Rahmat Ullah alias Sajid of Narayanganj in Bangladesh and operatives of the banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced a cash reward of Rs 1.0 million immediately after the Burdwan blast for information leading to his arrest.
