By-election to 30 UZ seats for women today

By-elections to 30 women's reserved seats in 29 Upazila Parishads (UZ) where at least two candidates polled same number of votes will be held today (Wednesday), reports UNB.
"The polls to the reserved seats will be held from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm," said EC assistant secretary Ashfakur Rahman on Tuesday.
Besides, by-polls to 17 vacant reserved seats in 12 Upazila Parishads for which no nominations were filed will be held on August 25, Rahman added.
