COX'S BAZAR, June 5 (BSS): State Minister for Water Resources Forhad Hossain Azad has said the government is working to ease marginal farmers' hardships by ensuring irrigation facilities through canal re-excavation.
The state minister made the remarks while talking to reporters during his inspection to the ongoing excavation work of Patli Khal at PM Khali in Cox's Bazar Sadar upazila on Friday.
He said improved irrigation through canal re-excavation would enhance agricultural productivity in the area.
