Cancellation of recruitment of 53 employees to CS office demanded

PIROJPUR, Oct 3 (UNB): Local people of Sharupkathi Upazila demanded cancellation of recruitment of 53 employees to Civil Surgeon's office.
They also demanded the removal of Civil Surgeon Dr Shamsul Alam for resorting to what they termed 'corruption' in the recruitment.
The local people formed a human chain in front of press club under the upazila at 11.00am Sunday.
Awami League (AL) Upazila Secretary Abdus Salam Sikdar, freedom fighter (FF) Sakhawat Hossain, among others, attended the programme.
Addressing the occasion, the speakers said on September 27, a total of 53 Class III and IV employees under the health department were appointed at the Civil Surgeon's office illegally.
