Candidates voice against corruption in CHT

KHAGRACHHARI, Dec 27 (BSS): The candidates of major political alliances and parties in separate rallies here Saturday raised their voice against terrorism and corruption.
AL-led grand alliance candidate Jatindra Lal Tripura and BNP-led four party alliance candidate Samiran Dewan and independent candidate Daudul Islam Bhuiyan are vying from Khagrachhari parliamentary seat made pledges to root out terrorism and corruption from the area.
Speaking at a rally joined by thousands of people, Jatindra Tripura urged the voters to vote for boat to help eliminate problems like poverty, corruption and terrorism from the society.
Samiran Dewan, at a separate meeting called upon all to vote for the four-party alliance candidate and made pledge that if voted to power the four-party alliance would continue the trend of development and prosperity in the CHT.
Earlier, addressing a rally, Daudul Islam Bhuiyan said that if elected he would carry forward the development activities in the area.
