FARIDPUR, Jul 07 (UNB): A case was filed against 10 people, including Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader, in connection with the murder of a businessman in Sadar upazila of Faridpur, police said on Thursday.
Belal Hossain, sub-inspector of Kotwali thana, said, the FIR was lodged against the 10, including district JCD president Adnan Hossain, following a complaint from the deceased Sobuj Molla's father Shahid Molla in the morning. On July 4, Sobuj Molla (29) was hacked to death allegedly by assailants in the Baitul Aman area of Sadar upazila around 10:00 pm. Doctors pronounced him dead on arrival at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College and Hospital.
