Case filed against 42 BNP men for torching vehicles

MAGURA, Jan 11: A case was filed against 42 leaders and workers including Magura district unit BNP president Kabir Murad on charge of torching vehicles.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Magura thana Manik Chandra Gain filed the case against them, said Nikunja Nath, officer-in-charge (investigation) of the thana.

A bus was torched while its superviser was sleeping inside it at Vina square of Magura town Friday night, he said.

The superviser jumped out of the bus by breaking open its window glass. Then police picked up two persons for interrogation in this connection.
