"If BNP-Jamaat again comes to power, the country will be a terrorist one. Awami League should be voted to power to continue the flow of development," he said at a discussion marking the 69th founding anniversary of Awami League at Uttara Community Centre.
AL joint general secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, AL Central Working Committee member SM Kamal Hossain, Dhaka City North AL vice-president Nazim Uddin and former lawmaker Tanvir Shakil Joy addressed the function, among others, with local ward councillor Afsar Uddin Khan in the chair.
Nasim urged the party leaders and workers to work in unison for the party to ensure victory for AL.
About the anniversary of AL, he said Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, took the charge as president of the party in 1981 and since then she has been spearheading the party imbued with the principles of its inception.
