CCC mayor marks four-year term

CHITTAGONG, Jun 17: Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Mayor and ward councillors Tuesday organised a milad mahfil at Amanat Shah Mazar in the port city marking the four-year term in office.

Ctg Mayor Manjur Alam attended the occasion and offered prayers along with the senior officials and the ward councillors.

Panel Mayors Md Hossain and Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud Hasni and Niaz Md Khan, Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Md Azam, Ismail Bali, MA Malek, Dadarur Rahman Lavu, Yasin Chowdhury Ashu, Jahar Lal Hazari, AKM Jafrul Islam, Monowara Begum Moni and Shahanur Begum, among others, were present on the occasion.  

Employees and workers of the CCC presented a bouquet to the mayor and the councillors.

Local BNP leaders including vice-president of city BNP Shamsul Islam and general secretary Dr Shahadat Hossain were also present at the programme.
