Charge framing against Fakhrul, 22 others in violence case on Dec 28

A Dhaka court fixed December 28 for hearing on charge framing against BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 22 others in a violence case last year under the Speedy Trial Act, reports UNB.

Dhaka metropolitan magistrate M Tarek Mainul Islam Bhuiyan fixed the date after partial hearing of the charge in the case Wednesday.

Twenty-two BNP men including BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other party leaders-Mirza Abbas, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Amanullah Aman, Abdullah Al Noman and Habibunnabi Khan Sohel-appeared before the court on the day while Mir Sharafat Ali Sopu was absent.
