Charge-framing hearing against SQC today

CHITTAGONG, Sept 3 (UNB): A local court will hear Wednesday the charge-framing arguments against BNP leader Salauddin Quader Chowdhury in two vehicle-torching cases.

On August 3, acting Session's Judge M Jaglul Hossain deferred until September 3 the hearing on the charge framing against the detained BNP leader who was sentenced to death by the International Crimes Tribunal-1 for crimes committed against humanity during the War of Liberation in 1971.

Meanwhile, SQ Chowdhury will be produced before the court Wednesday. He was already taken to the Chittagong Central Jail from Kashimpur jail in Gazipur.
