Charge sheet against 29 BNP leaders including Fakhrul

Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police pressed charge sheet against 29 BNP leaders, including its acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, reports UNB.

DB inspector submitted the charge sheet to the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Anwar Sadat, in a case filed in connection with the violence on March 2, 2013.

The charge sheeted accused are: BNP leaders Mirza Abbas, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Abdullah Al Noman, Amanullah Aman, Moazzem Hossain Alal, Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anny, Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Sultan Salauddin Tuku and Mir Sarafat Ali Safu.

The case was filed against them with Ramna thana for vandalising and torching vehicles from Shantibagh to Malibagh crossing during their demonstration on March 2 last year.
