CHITTAGONG, Mar 22: A court today has awarded another 60 days time to the CID to investigate into the 10-truck arms haul case.
The court of Chittagong Metropolitan Sessions Judge Bhabani Prasad Sinha extended the time upon petition of the investigation officer (IO) and ASP of CID in Chittagong Ismail Hussain.
Earlier, the IO of the case prayed for 90 days' time to complete investigation stating that he needed more time to quiz the officials on duty in a patrol ship on the Bangladesh-Myanmar maritime boundary area during the offloading of the smuggled arms on April 1, 2004.
