CID submits CS against 21 militants

JESSORE, Aug 20: The CID (criminal investigation department) had submitted the charge sheet (CS) to a Jessore court accusing 21 suspected militants in the serial bomb blast case of August 17.

Officer in-charge of CID in Jessore Sirajul Islam submitted the CS against them to chief judicial magistrate Mostafizur Rahman Tuesday.

They were accused of carried out the bomb blasts or involved with the bomb blasts on August 17 in 2005.

Court sources said the CID submitted a CS accusing 21 suspected JMB activists. They are: Nazmul Fakir Shahin, Alauddin, Akramuzzaman, Jewel, Abul Kashem, Kausar Ali, Shamsur Rahman, Mostafa Kamal, Mizanur Rahman, Solaiman Hossain, Nurul Islam, Anwarul Islam, Abdul Haq, Raju, Abdur Raqib, Khalid Hossain, Abu Naim, Sabbir Ahmed, Matiar Rahman and Raqib alias Nur Uddin.
