NOAKHALI, June 24 (UNB): Five cocktails exploded in the judge's court here this morning when deposition of witnesses was being taken, leaving a police constable injured.
Court sources said the cocktails which were placed in the court as evidence in an arms case exploded inside the court of the Additional District Judge Abdul Hye Miah at 10:45 am.
The sound of explosions created panic among the lawyers, witnesses, police and others present in the court.
Constable Mokbul Miah received serious injuries on his right hand. Police cordoned the courtroom off following the explosion.
