Commission to hold Muktijoddah Command Council polls formed

The government constituted Monday a five-member election commission to conduct the election of Bangladesh Muktijoddah Sangsad Central Command Council, district commands and upazila commands.
Former secretary of the government M Rashidul Alam has been made the chief election commissioner, reports BSS.
Other members of the commission are-former secretary Hiralal Bala, Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Shafiq Alam Mehedi, Brigadier General (retd) Jalal Uddin Siddiqui and Major (retd) M Abdus Salam.
The commission will arrange the election of central command, district command and upazila command on the same day.
