Comrade Matin passes away

Comrade Abdul Matin Talukder, acting convener of Banglasher Shamajtantrik Dal (BSD), died of blood cancer last night at a city hospital. He was 68, reports BSS. He left behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a large number of relatives and well-wishers. The deceased will be buried at his village home at Gobindaganj under Gaibadha district. Meanwhile, National Committee to Protect Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Ports Convener Engr Sheikh Muhammad Shahidullha and member secretary Prof Anu Muhammad expressed their profound shock at the death of Comrade Abdul Matin Talukder. In a condolence message, they conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
