Corrupts under intelligence surveillance, says Quader

'Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader said on Tuesday those involved in various misdeeds are now under the radar of intelligence agencies, report agencies.
He also said the ongoing anticrime drive will be conducted across the country,
"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has hinted that the drive will be strengthened and those involved in various misdeeds are under the surveillance of intelligence," he said.
The AL leader came up with the remarks while talking to reporters at the Secretariat in the city.
Replying to a question about the arrest of Jubo League leader Samrat, Quader said, "No one will be spared. Law enforcement agencies will arrest anyone once they receive proper evidence against him or her."
Replying to another query, he said the intruders into Awami League and its front organisations are also under close watch.
Asked about the remarks of BNP leader Moudud Ahmed for disclosing the wealth information of ministers and MPs, the AL leader said, "Please ask him to disclose his own wealth to the nation. We the ministers and MPs are providing this information to the Prime Minister every year and if you (journalists) have any proof of corruption then give us that information."
Replying to a question about alleged extortion in the transport sector, the minister said it is being investigated who are involved in extortion. "Action will be taken against those involved in extortion."
