GAZIPUR, Sept 15 (BSS): State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki said on Saturday Bangladesh has reached a new height as far as development is concerned.
Massive development spree across the country, she said, has made Bangladesh a self-reliant and self-respecting nation.
"Bangladesh is no longer a bottomless basket…It has become self-reliant and self-respecting country under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," she told newsmen after inaugurating Baranagar road in Kaliganj municipal area of the district here.
