Court defers indictment hearing against Khaleda

CUMILLA, Jan 16 (UNB): A court deferred on Wednesday the hearing on charge framing and bail petition of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in a case over the killing of eight people in an arson attack on a bus in 2015.
Cumilla additional district and sessions judge Md Ali Akbar passed the order after hearing of a time petition filed by the prosecution, said Khaleda's counsel Kaimul Haque Rinku.
However, the court did not fix any date for next hearing.
Eight people were killed in a petrol bomb attack on a bus at Jogmohanpur in Chauddagram upazila on February 3, 2015.
