Special Judge's Court Judge Amar Kumar Roy Thursday set July 4 for delivering the verdict against former state minister and BNP leader Mir Nasiruddin and his son Mir Md Helaluddin, reports bdnews24.com.
Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Sharmeen Ferdousi filed a corruption case against them with Gulshan police station on March 6 this year.
Nasir and Helal are accused of acquiring assets beyond their known sources of income.
A charge sheet, submitted on April 29, stated that the accused supplied false wealth statements to the ACC. The ACC also alleged that the existence of Tk 32.20 million in assets was suppressed in the wealth statement.
The court heard testimonies from 32 witnesses.
