Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) Tuesday started demonstration programmes across the country to press home its 15-point demands including controlling the ongoing price-hike of essentials, reports UNB.
The CPB began its demonstration programmes at Upazila level from Tuesday and would continue until March 10.
The demonstrations would be held at district level on March 12.
In a joint statement, CPB President Manzurul Ahsan Khan and its Secretary General Muzahidul Islam Selim said that they announced the protest programmes as the government has failed to control the prices of essentials including food grains in the country.
