CS submitted against Khoka in sedition case

Police submitted Monday the charge sheet (CS) of a sedition case against BNP vice-chairman Sadek Hossain Khoka, reports UNB.

According to the case, Khoka at a party programme on October 14 last year urged the BNP activists to demonstrate with machetes and axes.

Tofail Ahmed, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Paltan Police Station and also investigation officer of the case, submitted the charge sheet to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's court.

The charge sheet includes 24 prosecution witnesses.

The court fixed December 14 to decide whether it will take cognisance of the charge or not.
