Ctg BNP observes hunger strike for Khaleda's release

CHATTOGRAM, Apr 06: Leaders and activists of the Chattogram north district unit of BNP observed a token hunger on its Nasimon Bhaban office premises on Saturday demanding immediate release of the party chairperson, Khaleda Zia.

During the hunger strike, BNP Chattogram north district committee held a rally.

Chaired by BNP leader Nazim Uddin, the rally was addressed by BNP central committee organising secretary Mahbubur Rahman Shamim as the chief guest

BNP leaders MA Halim, Salahuddin, Sekandar Chowdhury, Sarwar Uddin Selim, Ahsanul Kabir Ripon, Kazi Salah Uddin, Kamal Pasha, Sloaiman Monju and Sajjad Hossain addressed it, among others.

Speakers at the rally alleged that the government is trying to kill Khaleda Zia by not providing her with the necessary treatment.
