CHATTOGRAM, Sept 22: Leaders of the Chattogram city unit of Awami League (AL) today recalled the contributions of late minister MA Mannan and late general secretary of the unit Enamul Huq Danu in the nation building.
They placed floral wreaths today at the graveyard of MA Mannan, one of the organisers of Liberation War of 1971, at Dampara on the occasion of his ninth death anniversary and at the graveyard of Enamul Huq Danu, a freedom fighter, at Chawkbazar in the city on marking his fifth death anniversary.
Those who paid homage to them include Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam B Sc, Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation and city AL general secretary AJM Nasir Uddin.
