Speakers at an event on Tuesday said the CTO Forum is working to strengthen the linkage between academia and industry by encouraging the next generation to solve ICT industrial problems.
They said this at the event on innovation hackathon for students held at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU).
The CTO Forum also hosted an innovation hackathon to address specific difficulties in a2i and announced its plan to work on next innovation hackathon in 2022 and give CTO Award to top IT persons in the future.
Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority Bikarna Kumar Ghosh attended the event as the special guest and lauded the CTO forum's consistent efforts in the country's ICT industry, says a press release.
Head of the Department of Computer Science, Canadian University of Bangladesh Dr Syed Akhter Hossain, Chief Technology Officer of Access to Information (a2i) Arfe Elahi Manik and President of CTO Forum Tapan Kanti Sarker also held a press conference.
