The daughter of Narail-2 MP and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Ataur Rahman Bachchu has reportedly been named as a recipient of donations from his voluntary fund, which is financed by the government exchequer, reports bdnews24.com.

As per the letter, the MP received an allocation of Tk 183,500 for the financial year 2025-2026 for distribution under his authority in the Sadar and Lohagara upazilas.
The fund was granted for nine people in the Sadar upazila and 11 others in Lohagara upazila, who had sought financial assistance from the MP, it says.
Among the applicants in Sadar upazila, two are identified only as Faiza, who were granted Tk 10,000 each. One of them is on top of the list while the other is at No. 8.
The letter states that the name of the father of the first recipient is Md Bachchu and that of the other Faiza is Md Ataur.
