DCC, municipalities, UPs polls from December: CEC

NARAYANGANJ, Oct 4 (BSS): Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) ATM Shamsul Huda Monday said the polls of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC), municipalities and union parishads (UPs) would be held in phases from December this year.
Huda was talking to newsmen, while visiting the progress of construction of upazila and regional server stations for electoral database in the district.
Three server stations have been set up at Chashara under Sadar Upazila, Bondor Upazila complex and Rupganj upazila complex.
Deputy Commissioner (in-charge) Amanullah Noori, Police Super Biswan Afzul Hossen and district election office Farhad Hossen were present.
