The 38th death anniversary of Shaheed Abdullah Hil Baqui Bir Protik will be observed today (Friday), says a press release.
He embraced martyrdom in 1971 in a face-to-face fighting with Pakistani occupation forces. He was the commander of Baqui Unit of North in Dhaka City.
A doa mahfil will be held at his paternal residence Baqui Bhaban after Asr prayers.
Relatives, friends, and well-wishers have been requested to attend the programme and pray for his eternal peace.
