DGFI official Naser on remand again

A Dhaka court has placed former DGFI director and dismissed Lt Col Afzal Naser on a 3-day remand in an attempted murder case of Jagannath University (JnU) student Anik Kumar Das filed with Kotwali Police Station in the capital during the anti-discrimination student movement, reports BSS.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ripon Hossain passed the order on Friday following a seven-day remand petition filed by investigation officer KM Abdul Huq.

Earlier on 5 May, Afzal Naser was placed on 3-day remand in the same case.
