SAVAR, June 6 (UNB): Joint forces arrested Dhamrai Municipality chairman from his residence in the municipality area Tuesday midnight.
Sources said the joint forces raided the residence of Chairman Dewan Nazim Uddin Manju, also a BNP leader, and arrested him on various charges, including land grabbing and extortion.
After the arrest, he was taken to a camp of joint forces in Savar and later handed over to the police Wednesday noon after interrogation.
